HOW TO REACH GENOA
By Train
Palazzo Balbi Cattaneo and Polo Didattoco delle Fontane are easily reachable from Genoa Piazza Principe railway station on foot (about 8-9 min, 600 mt away).
By Air
Genoa City Airport (GOA)
By Train:
- From Genoa airport, get to the “Genova Carnigliano” train station (15-minute walk) and take the regional train to “Genova Piazza Principe” station, then walk for another 7 minutes to the venue.
By Bus:
- Go to the “Siffredi 3/ALBERTO” bus stop which is a 15-minute walk away, take Bus 1 and get off at the “Gramsci 2/METRO” Darsena’ stop and walk another 4 minutes.
- Go to the “Siffredi 3/ALBERTO” bus stop which is a 15-minute walk away, take Bus 3 and get off at the “Principe Fs” stop and walk another 6 minutes.
By Car
From Milan
- Via A7, also known as ‘Serravalle’. This is the most direct route, but the final section is a succession of bends.
- Via A26, taking the diversions at Genova Pra’. This is the longest route.
- Via A26 and A7, taking the deviation first at Tortona towards A7 Milan and then towards Genova Pra’.
Cycle Route
From Milan to Genoa
- Via Emilia (SS9): Follow the Via Emilia towards Piacenza, then continue towards Genoa. There are secondary roads that are less trafficked you can take.
- Po River Cycle Path: You can start along the Po River and head south, passing through Pavia and Alessandria.
From Turin to Genoa
- State Road 20 (Colle di Tenda): You can cross the Colle di Tenda, passing through Cuneo and then descending towards the coast.
- Stura Valley Cycle Path: Follow the cycle path through the Stura Valley until you connect to other roads leading to Genoa.
From La Spezia to Genoa
- Via Aurelia (SS1): Follow the Via Aurelia along the coast. It’s scenic but can be busy with traffic.
- Lunigiana Cycle Path: You can follow the cycle path that winds through the landscapes of Lunigiana and connects to Genoa.
